I thought I'd share with you my adventure of the first time I went out shopping crossdressed.
It was about 10 years ago, and I'd been planning it for weeks.
I'd got myself a new wig from ebay, which I was quite confident looked pretty good, a new white floaty summer skirt and a gorgeous short sleeved white blouse.
The plan was to get mostly dressed, cover up with loose pants and jacket and drive to the multistory carpark at a near by shopping centre - there I would drive up high enough so it was quiet, and finish makeup and hair in the car.
Well that was the easy bit!! Then I drove back down a couple of levels and got out of the car - heart pounding - and every time I walked a little way towards the shops I'd see someone and I'd turn back to the car again.
Eventually I got past the carpark exit and I hesitantly walked through into the shops, where immediately some security guy asked if I was ok cos I looked lost. I just smiled and said yes thanks and had no option now to keep walking - as he was by the entrance in and I couldn't bring myself to go back past him again. I was stuck - had to go through with it now!
I spent a fabulous hour walking round the shops and nobody gave me the slightest funny looks! I even plucked up courage to try a pair of boots on in one shop.
I've not repeated this often - it still is very scary to be among that many people as a crossdresser. You feel like everyone knows! But it is a real buzz!!
